The Urology Health Technician is assigned to the Urology Section of the Surgery Service and performs the majority of his/her duties in the Urology Suites (Clinic and Cysto). The functions of the assigned areas are to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with suspected or previously diagnosed genitourinary disease, provide continuity of follow-up, and carry out appropriate treatment.
