Nursing Assistant (Acute Care)
The Nursing Assistant (NA) is a member of the Acute Care Team, providing assistance to the physician, nurse manager, registered nurse, and other team members during diagnostic examinations or medical treatment procedures as part of the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The Nursing Assistants are involved in a variety of personal care, nursing care, or related procedures that do not require the knowledge and skills represented by the licensure of practical nurses.
