The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions as a member of the nursing and treatment teams in the Care in the Community (CITC) service planning and implementing a full range of practical nursing care for veterans at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center in Pineville, La. He/she provides complex age-specific and population specific nursing care for adult and geriatric inpatients or outpatients with physical, mental, behavioral or psychosocial needs according to assignment and training.
