The Nursing Assistant in Restorative Care program provides restorative care based on the Community Living Centers (CLC) Restorative Care program. Restorative Care refers to nursing interventions that promote the residents ability to adapt and adjust to living as independently and safely as possible. This concept actively focuses on achieving and maintaining optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning. The Nursing Assistant in Restorative Care: Performs care according to the CLC Restorative Care Program: bowel and bladder retraining, bed mobility, ambulation and transfers, activities of daily living, amputation and prosthetic care, range of motion, splint and brace care, and restorative dining.
