The Position

• The Director of Emergency Services serves as the clinical leader for the department, ensuring excellence in the planning, implementation, evaluation, and delivery of pediatric patient care services.
• Seeking a visible leader to move forward department and organizational goals by creating effective interdisciplinary partnerships, implementing evidence-based best practices, and focusing on staffing and employee engagement.
• Additional responsibility areas for the department include regulatory compliance, resource and budget management, performance improvement, and collaboration with physician, department, and hospital leadership. 
• Must bring 7+ years of relevant clinical experience, with 5+ years in a leadership capacity. Experience in a Magnet-designated and academic facility is preferred. 
• BSN required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Active RN license required and can work towards obtaining an Arkansas or Compact license before starting.
