Nationwide Children's Hospital
Nationwide Children’s Hospital is currently seeking two junior or early/mid-career physicians to join the Department of Urology. The positions are located at Mercy Health Children’s Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, an affiliate of Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The affiliation with NCH Department of Urology will allow for mentoring opportunities to achieve personal, clinical and academic goals; options for multicenter collaborative research programs and; virtual participation in all educational activities, including teaching conferences and didactics. Mercy Children’s Hospital has the full range of sophisticated facilities for advanced pediatric care including: three onsite daVinci Xi units for robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery; a dedicated multispecialty myelomeningocele program; multichannel urodynamics lab with biofeedback capabilities; dedicated cystoscopy suite with fluoroscopy for endoscopic stone surgery; hospitalist service to assist with in patient care; and advanced care providers for clinic and hospital support. This position will require individuals with excellence in clinical care and teaching. Minimum qualifications include an M.D. or D.O. degree, board certification or eligibility in Urology and eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio. The Department of Urology at Nationwide Children’s is an exceptional group of 8 pediatric urologists presently working in 2 children’s hospitals, but who have a unified purpose.
