Peoria Ear, Nose & Throat Group is a fast paced, multi-specialty private practice. We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for a high energy clinical audiologist looking for a collaborative position with our otolaryngology physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists (who are specifically trained in vestibular rehabilitation and balance therapy) and fellow audiologists. The successful applicant should have general knowledge in all areas of audiology, be a team player and have essential skills in patient care.
Responsibilities of the position will include:
Performing audiological evaluations (audiogram, tympanograms) for children and adults
Ability to perform (or desire to learn) vestibular function testing via Videonystagmography (VNG) and Computerized dynamic posturography (CDP)
Assess, recommend and fit hearing aids and troubleshoot and perform minor hearing aid repairs
Maintain and troubleshoot audio equipment
Desired education, experience and licensure:
Doctor of Audiology (AuD) is preferred but Masters degree Audiologists will be considered.
2 or more years experience would be ideal but will also consider recent graduates
Possess current Illinois license in Audiology
