The University of Arizona Cancer Center at Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking candidates for our Urologist positions. These individuals will be important members of the Genitourinary (GU) Multidisciplinary Team. The ability to perform complex GU procedures, manage sexual health disorders and be a member of a complex pelvic/abdominal surgery team are important skills for this position. We offer unique ground-floor opportunities to build best-in-class patient care by combining the academic strengths of the NCI-designated University of Arizona Comprehensive Cancer Center (UACC) with the outstanding care provided by St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center, the flagship hospital of Dignity Health, the 5th largest health system in the US. We have seven active multidisciplinary disease teams, each including medical, surgical, radiation, radiology, pathology, genetics and supportive care experts. Building a robust clinical practice, providing direct patient care, and participating in the translational research programs are key responsibilities of these positions. The multidisciplinary teams work closely with the leadership of both Dignity Health and UACC to ensure the growth of the comprehensive patient care programs as well as the implementation and growth of the translational and clinical trials programs.
